 The application deadlines for OAUTHC General Nursing, Basic Midwifery and Preoperative Nursing Admission have been postponed indefinitely. Entrance exams and interviews will be held at a new date to be announced later.

Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospital Complex (OAUTHC) hereby invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the following Nursing Programmes of the Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospitals Complex, Ile-Ife for 2020/2021 Academic Session:

I    BASIC GENERAL NURSING

This is a three-year programme commencing in October, 2020

Requirements

• Applicants must possess: WAEC, SSCE/GCE or NECO, SSCE/GCE with five (5) credits (at not more than two sittings) in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology. He or she should be at least sixteen (16) years old on admission.

Entrance examination shall be conducted by the Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospitals Complex, Nursing and Midwifery Central Selection Committee on the date yet to be fixed.

II.    POST BASIC GENERAL NURSING

This is an eighteen-month programme commencing in March, 2021

Requirements

• Applicants must:
  1. Possess WAEC, SSCE/GCE or NECO, SSCE/GCE with 5 credits (at not more than two sittings) in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
  2. Be a registered Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria.

  2. Possess Registration with Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria as a Registered Nurse.
